LEADERSHIP
Erica Frankenberg is a professor of education and demography in the College of Education, and affiliate law faculty at the Pennsylvania State University; she is also director of the Center for Education and Civil Rights. Her research interests focus on racial desegregation and inequality in K-12 schools, and the connections between school segregation and other metropolitan policies. She has written extensively about centering civil rights within an education policy research agenda at the federal level and brings her unique expertise in spatial and segregation analysis in schools to bear on this project.
