Announcing AdvancED Equity

Today marks the launch of AdvancED Equity, an independent research and policy initiative born out of our commitment to advance educational equity in the US.

Led by Dr. Maithreyi Gopalan and Dr. Erica Frankenberg, AdvancED Equity’s mission is to advance educational equity through original research, data harmonization, and dissemination of public data resources on diverse students’ experiences in schools and colleges. Our inaugural initiative focuses on student experience of Civil Rights Enforcement in Education.

With generous funding from the Student Experience Research Network, the Social Science Research Institute, and the College of Education at The Pennsylvania State University, we are delighted to get this initiative off the ground.
